Ich habe mich in DSM eingeloggt und folgendes festgestellt:
Fast alle Pakete starten nicht mehr: Im Hauptmenü sehe ich die Pakete auch nicht mehr, kann also nichts konfigurieren. Video Station, Audio Station, Media Station, Mail Station, etc.
Dann habe ich bspw. Medienserver deinstalliert und wollte es wieder installieren: Dann kommt: "Mediaserver konnte nicht installiert werden. Paket konnte nicht installiert werden.".
Probiert habe ich mehrfache neustarts, stoppen aller stopbaren pakete. Nichts funkioniert.

Nachdem L2TP nur eine Verbindung aus einem entfernten Netz zulässt, wollte ich noch OpenVPN einrichten. Das funktioniert eigentlich auch gut, sofern ich mich nicht in einem WLan mit dem Adressbereich 192.168.x.x. befinde.
Das Syno hat die Adresse 192.168.1.x und ist an einem Anschluss mit einer fixen iP-Adresse vom ISP. Wenn ich nun über mein Mobile zugreife dann klappt auch alles ordentlich, wenn ich mich in bestimmten WLan's befinde dann aber nicht. Was mache ich falsch?

wie im Titel angegeben, habe ich den iTunes Server installiert und konfiguriert, er wird aber leider im Netzwerk nicht angezeigt. Nach langem Testen, bin ich mittlerweile etwas ratlos und für gute Ideen dankbar.
Folgende Dinge zur Information:
- DS und Clients sind im gleichen Netzwerk
- iTunes Server mit oder ohne Passwort ändert nichts
- Deaktivierung der Firewall auf beiden Seiten ändert nichts
- Erfolglos getestet mit MacBook, iPhone und iPad
- Wenn ich bspw. die Privatfreigabe am MacBook aktiviere, sehe ich die Mediathek sofort auf iPad, iPhone

Ich vermute, dass es irgendwas mit Portfreigaben zu tun hat, da allerdings bin ich nicht so ganz fit.
Kann mir jemand behilflich sein, was ich da ggf. an der Fritz-Box oder in der Synology noch einstellen muss, damit es funktioniert.

Verständnisfrage und Konfigurationsproblem
Hallo Zusammen,
ich habe ein DS218+ System mit zwei Festplatten (2x2TB) gekauft, wobei eine komplett mit Daten belegt ist. Leider habe ich beim ersten Konfigurationsversuch einen Fehler begangen.
Für Festplatte 1 hatte ich SHR und BTRFS gewählt. Anschließend habe ich alle Daten darauf kopiert (per USB) und wollte Festplatte 2 hinzufügen (ohne Redundanz sonder als Speicherplatzerweiterung). Bei Speicherpool - Laufwerk hinzufügen wurde leider eine Spiegelung eingerichtet, die sich wie ich lernen musste (da wäre eine Warnung nicht schlecht!), nicht wieder beenden lässt ohne das SHR aufzulösen.
Ich habe also die 2. Festplatte gezogen und wieder gesteckt und als neuen Speicherpool 2, JBOD eingerichtet und nochmal alle Daten rüber kopiert. Nun meine Fragen:
1.) Kann ich die Festplatte 2 jetzt jederzeit ziehen und wieder montieren ohne Daten zu verlieren?
2.) Kann ich die Festplatte 2 ziehen, das System komplett neu einrichten und Festplatte 2 anschließend wieder hinzufügen ohne Daten zu verlieren (Festplatte 1 ist egal!)? Ist der Speicherpool 2 dann beim stecken der Platte automatisch wieder da?
Mir ist noch nicht ganz klar, was ein Speicherpool überhaupt ist! Ein Volume würde ich mal als klassische Partition sehen?! Was ist der Speicherpool? Ist die Speicherpoolkonfiguration auf der jeweiligen Disk hinterlegt oder irgendwo anders? Kann ich eine Disk mit ext4/btrfs Partition einfach in das System stecken und darauf ohne Datenverlust zugreifen? Falls ja, wie würde man das anstellen?

SS nimmt nicht mehr auf.
Hi,
seit heute morgen hab ich leider keine Aufnahme meiner Kamera bei Bewegungserkennung.
Denke auch nicht das es an meinen Einstellungen liegen kann. Würde mich aber freuen wenn da mal jemand drüber schauen kann, denn man kann ja nie wissen.

Videostation spielt Filme nicht mehr ab
Hallo zusammen,
ich bin neu hier im Forum. Ich habe eine DS916+ (DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 2) und seit neuesten das Problem, das die VideoStation keine Filme, egal ob .vob, .mkv, oder .mpeg mehr abspielt. Sie zeigt mir zwar die Vorschau an, aber wenn ich den Film starten möchte, kommt nur ein endlos Kringeln. Dabei ist es egal, ob ich die Videostation über PC, MAC oder iOS- Geräte starte.
Gestern habe ich dann mal Plex installiert, da es von meinem Panasonic TV unterstützt wird, da läuft alles, nur habe ich dann eine CPU- Last von >90%.
Ich weiß, es sind gleich zwei Fragen, aber vielleicht könnt ihr mir ja weiterhelfen.

Kommen noch neue Modelle 2019 raus

da ich mich schon seit Wochen mit den jetzigen Modellen befasse, und ich mir einbilde meine 416play auszumustern, bin ich für
meine Anwendungen auf die DS1618+ gekommen und ich möchte mich mal mit einer Virtuelle Maschine auseinander setzen.
Jetzt habe ich schon gelesen das eventuell neue Modelle dieses Jahr noch kommen sollen, weiss das einer hier ob das wirklich
auch so ist :confused: da ich nicht alles so glaube was im Netz so geschrieben wird :)
Sonst drücke ich diese Woche noch den Kaufen Button :rolleyes:

Problem: Gemeinsamer Ordner beim User nicht sichtbar / nicht einbindbar

seit neuestem sehen User die neu eingerichteten gemeinsamen Ordner nicht mehr.
DS213, DSM-Version: 6.2.2-24922-2
Ich richte gemeinsame Ordner ein und erteile Usern die Freigabe.
Wenn ich am Client versuche den Ordner in einem neuen Sync Task einzubinden, wird er nicht angezeigt.
Ich kann auch alte, also bestehende Tasks, raus löschen und sie wieder neu einbinden, das geht, diese werden wieder angezeigt, aber neu angelegte werden nicht mehr angezeigt.
Rechte für die User stehen entsprechend auf Lesen & Schreiben.
Hat jemand eine Idee?

Ordnersynchronisation mit an DS918+ angeschlossener USB Platte
Hallo,
wie lässt es sich am einfachsten bewerkstelligen, dass ich Ordner zwischen Diskstation und an Diskstation angeschlossener USB Festplatte automatisiert Synchronisieren kann. Ordner auf Diskstation soll "Master" sein. Die USB Platte erscheint als Ordner mit entsprechenden Unterordnern in der File Station.

ISCSI dauerhaft einbinden unter Linux Mint
Ich brauche mal Hilfe von den Linux Experten.
Ich bin absoluter Neuling bei Linux. Vor einer Woche habe ich mich entschlossen Linux auszuprobieren. Windows nervt immer mehr. Es kommen nur noch Updates auf Updates oder sie werden gesperrt weil mal wieder Fehler aufgetaucht sind... Jetzt habe ich im Internet gesucht und es tauchten viel Empfehlungen für Linux Mint und Linux MX auf. Ich habe mich für Linux Mint entschlossen, teste aber noch noch Linux MX virtuell auf einem USB Stick...
Soweit habe ich das meiste auch hinbekommen.
Aber ich bin einfach zu blöde eine ISCSI (Virtuelle Festplatte) bei Linux einzubinden und ich möchte sie dann auch automatisch mounten, so das sie sich bei einem Boot gleich einbinden.
Mein System ist mittlerweile eine Synology 1618+

Monitoring Active Backup for Business
Für alle die, die gerne ihre Dienste überwachen:
Bei meinen Spielereien für PRTG bin ich auf die Datenbank von Active Backup for Business gestossen.
Unter /volume1/@ActiveBackup gibt es eine activity.db. Diese SQLite-Datenbank enthält unter anderem eine Tabelle device_result_table, in der die Backup-Ergebnisse nach Device stehen.
In der Konsole kann man die z.b. mit sqlite3 /volume1/@ActiveBackup/activity.db "select * from device_result_table" abfragen. Das Ergebnis sieht dann z.B so aus:
87|103|1|2|DEVICE|1565559069|1565559084|1160324608
Die Bedeutung der Spalten:

Status bedeutet:
2 Finished successful
3 Canceled
4 Failed
5 Warning
8 Partial succeesful
(Das sind die wichtigen Werte)

Bilder auf Windows ansehen
Hallo!
Ich habe schon mit verschiedenen Programmen versucht auf die Nas zuzugreifen um mir Bilder anzusehen, wie z.b. PhotoCommander, Xnview uws
ich komme einfach nicht drauf mit dem normalen Win Explorer ist es kein Problem
Mit den Programmen bekomme ich noch nicht mal das Netzwerk geöffnet
